PluSport Football Tournament in Villmergen

PluSport’s first outdoor tournament of the year took place on May 4, 2024, at FC Villmergen. In spring-like weather and pleasant temperatures, 150 footballers took part. The participating teams were divided into different strength categories to cater for different abilities and age groups. In addition to the tournament for adults, children’s and youth teams played their own tournament. For the first time after the winter break, the technical and tactical skills learned in the weekly training sessions were put to the test again. The kids were delighted to finally be able to play tournaments again. Everyone was highly motivated and thrilled the spectators with exciting matches. In the end, the Ponte Kickers Windisch Juniors secured the shiny winner’s trophy ahead of the second-placed Special Kickers Lucerne.

PluSport would like to thank the People’s Sport Foundation for its long-term support in favour of «Football for kids». The young footballers are very happy to be able to play their beloved sport on a regular basis.
