Football for All – Looking back at the First Half of 2026
During the first half of 2026, PluSport successfully continued its Football for Kids programme. Through regular training sessions in regional teams, several football tournaments and the inclusive football camp in Crissier, children and young people with disabilities had the opportunity to further develop their football skills while enjoying valuable experiences of friendship and community.
A particular highlight was the inclusive football tournament in Widnau, where children and young people with and without disabilities played side by side. The day was characterised by team spirit, fair play and the joy of playing football together. Goals were celebrated by everyone, regardless of which team scored them, demonstrating how football can bring people together and make inclusion a natural part of the game.

The inclusive football camp in Crissier was another great success. The participants thoroughly enjoyed the football activities and were warmly welcomed by the other children and the coaching team, who ensured they were fully included in all training sessions and tournaments. Alongside their sporting progress, the children built new friendships and created many unforgettable memories. The camp strengthened their self-confidence and once again demonstrated the power of sport to connect people.
Thanks to the People Sports Foundation generous support, PluSport was able to deliver and further develop these training sessions, tournaments and camps to a high standard. Beyond improving their football skills, the children gained confidence, formed meaningful friendships and experienced moments of achievement that extend far beyond the football pitch.
