PSF is celebrating its fifth anniversary!

On 22 June 2021, the People’s Sport Foundation (PSF) was founded by Latvian Professor of Sports Education Viesturs Krauksts and daughter of the internationally renowned gymnastics  coach Vlad Zaglada  Olesya Zaglada, who became the Foundation’s Vice President.

Today, PSF proudly celebrates its fifth anniversary. Over these five years, the Foundation has grown into a well-established organization supporting respected Swiss institutions and initiatives in the field of disability sport and inclusion.

On 28 October 2024, Eva Kormendi held a charity boat trip on the Danube for disabled children and their families

On this special occasion, PSF is receiving warm congratulations and best wishes from its friends and partners.

Fabian Teichmann, the Foundation’s first President and legal advisor, said: “Five years ago, PSF began as an idea rooted in conviction, trust, and a shared determination to do things properly. To see how far it has come since then is a genuine source of pride. As its first President and as its legal advisor, I have had the privilege of accompanying PSF from its very first steps to the institution it has become – guided at every stage by integrity and a clear sense of purpose.

My heartfelt congratulations to everyone who has been part of this journey: our team, our partners, and all those who placed their confidence in us. Here is to the past five years – and to many more ahead. May PSF continue to grow, to build on its foundations, and to honour the trust placed in it.”

Partners from “Footbal for Kids” Project from PluSport joined the congratulations:

“PluSport warmly congratulates the People’s Sport Foundation on its anniversary. We are delighted to have been able to accompany the Foundation’s development for many years and would like to thank it for its outstanding commitment to people with disabilities.

Thanks to the valuable support of the People’s Sport Foundation, we have been able to further develop our “Football for Kids” project and provide numerous children and young people with disabilities access to the sport of football.

On the football field, not only physical activity and sporting achievements are created, but also friendships and genuine inclusion.

We wish the People’s Sport Foundation continued success and many inspiring projects in the years ahead. We look forward to continuing our collaboration to empower and connect people through sport.”

PSF sincerely appreciates all the congratulations and is proud to share some of the highlights of its work and achievements over the past five years.
