Third Para Sport Day in Düsseldorf

On 16 November, Olesya Zaglada and her daughter Zoya attended the third Para Sport Day in Düsseldorf — a tradition that has already become special for their family after visiting the first and second Para Sport Days in previous years.

Children with and without disabilities were able to spend quality time together, try out various sports, and experience what true inclusion looks like. The event was a wonderful example of how important it is to encourage inclusion from an early age.

Each child received a card featuring different sports, and after trying each activity, they collected a stamp. Once all stamps were collected, the children were rewarded with tasty treats and small souvenirs. The sports offered included basketball, football, athletics, para hockey, skateboarding, table tennis, taekwondo, horse riding, and even a sports motor skills test.

It was a joyful day for everyone — a fantastic celebration of inclusion.
