In February 2025, the traditional indoor football tournament took place in Herrliberg for the 24th time. Eleven teams from across Switzerland – including Solothurn, Windisch, St. Gallen, Zurich, and Pfäffikon – competed in exciting and fair matches marked by great passion, joy, and mutual respect. A particularly thrilling moment was the local derby between the two regional teams, FC Zürisee A and B. As every year, the regional club PluSport Zürisee provided excellent refreshments, while at the awards ceremony all participants received a trophy in recognition of their efforts. The tournament has long been a popular fixture in the inclusive sports calendar, standing for fair play, community, and enthusiasm for the game.

Just a few months later followed the next highlight: the PluSport football tournament held at the FC Fortuna St. Gallen grounds. Around 200 players with disabilities from all over Switzerland competed in three performance categories, ensuring fair opportunities for both experienced and new teams. The host club provided excellent conditions and a warm atmosphere through its great commitment. Amid exciting matches, cheers, and emotional moments, the joy and excitement both on and off the pitch were unmistakable – a strong symbol of lived inclusion and unity through sport.
Further tournaments took place in Lucerne, Basel, Solothurn, and Widnau. These events impressively demonstrate how powerfully football brings people together and how valuable such encounters are for everyone involved.
