Season’s Greetings
The People’s Sport Foundation (PSF) wishes its partners and friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
In 2025, PSF extended its cooperation with all long-term partners — the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF), PluSport (Project Football for Kids), and the Paraplegic Sports Association.
During this festive season, PSF has received numerous messages of appreciation from its partners.
Gabriel Zangenfeind, Secretary General of the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation, said:
“IWBF greatly values the cooperation we share with the People’s Sport Foundation. Your trust, engagement, and belief in the power of sport as a vehicle for inclusion and positive change are deeply appreciated.
Support such as that provided by PSF and your team is truly a gift to global wheelchair basketball. It makes a real and tangible impact — supporting athletes, strengthening communities, and helping our sport reach further and touch more lives around the world.
As we look ahead to 2026, we very much look forward to continuing our cooperation and building on the positive momentum we have created together.”

Members of Board of PSF Eva Körmendi and Olesya Zaglada are discussing plans for New Year 2026
Looking ahead to 2026, PSF has ambitious plans for further development. The Foundation intends to expand its cooperation into new geographical regions and to initiate scientific research in the field of Paralympic sports.
In February 2026, Dr. Olesya Zaglada will participate for the first time in the International Symposium for Olympic and Paralympic Research, hosted by the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” in Naples, Italy. She will present a paper entitled:
“The Legacy of the Paralympic Games in the History of the Paralympic Movement and Its Impact on the Lives of People with Disabilities.”
May your festive season be filled with joy, peace, and happiness.
Yours sincerely,
People’s Sport Foundation
