Football brings people, ideas and commitment together

As part of this year’s Women’s Euro in July, PluSport invited partner organisations and cooperation partners to a get-together in Bern. Amid the vibrant atmosphere surrounding the tournament, an inspiring space for connection, exchange and gratitude was created.

The Women’s Euro fan zone in Bern was not only a place of excitement and emotion but also the perfect venue to celebrate partnership and inclusion. While football fans of all ages and nationalities prepared for the match, representatives from business and sport met over drinks and snacks – united by a shared goal: promoting sport for people with disabilities and strengthening inclusion in sport.

PluSport took this special occasion to thank those who make its work possible. The financial support of PluSport’s partners, including PSF, enables the organisation to offer sports programmes at all levels – from grassroots to elite sport. Moreover, this support makes an important contribution to the ongoing development of inclusive structures in and through sport.

With Football for All, PluSport promotes inclusive and integrative football. Football for people with disabilities should become a natural part of the Swiss sporting landscape. From founding football teams for children, young people and adults to creating an integrative tournament platform and developing blind football, PluSport has already implemented a wide range of initiatives.
